'escent'  is our created abbreviation for scent and essential. 

We use both essential and fragrance oils in our soaps which are

Welcome to Ambiescent Soaps.  We are proud to bring to you our luxurious range of hand crafted soaps which are made in South Australia from Nature's own finest ingredients and Australian produced organic oils and additives.

We use premium grade Natural Melt and Pour Soap Bases, with added vegetable glycerine, which are free from sulphates (SLS or SLES), are hypo-allergenic and are not tested on animals.  Glycerine is a humectant - it absorbs ambient water which means that it helps to seal in moisture on the skin.

It is our aim to make a beautifully detailed soap which is appealing to the eye and is also pleasantly perfumed for the senses.  We do not make our soaps in blocks or slabs which are then cut into bars or other shapes, but rather each soap is individually poured into a mould and left to set.  Of course this is more labour intensive, but we believe the results are worth the extra time and care.

Presentation is important to us - all our soaps are boxed or wrapped, labelled in accordance with Regulations and colour co-ordinated with matching ribbons where suitable.

We use both Essential Oils (E/O's) and Fragrance Oils (F/O's) with Oil and Butter additives which can be readily sourced with regard to their claimed beneficial properties.  These have been listed under our Glossary for your information and for further details please refer to About Us.

The colourants we use are of cosmetic grade and approved for use in soap.
